Pitch inspection for Leeds United under-21s vs. Everton under-21s, with an emphasis on the returning Whites

The United under-21 team will play their first game back at the LNER Community Stadium in York on December 21 at 7 p.m. against the young Toffees. The team hasn’t played since losing 1-0 to league leaders Tottenham Hotspur on December 18.

Young Whites players Sonny Perkins and Jack Jenkins, who were on loan at Oxford United and Scunthorpe United, respectively, returned to Leeds at the beginning of the year. Darko Gyabi, who spent the entire season on loan at Plymouth Argyle, won’t be playing for Leeds.

Kris Moore participated in a friendly match on Friday against Servette while on trial with Hibernian during the team’s winter training camp in Dubai. Leeds is two points ahead of Everton, who are now in fourth place despite having played one more game, in the Premier League Two standings, which comprises 26 teams. With a win, Leeds may move up to 12th place.

Luke Ayling, a hopeful for Middlesbrough, hopes to capitalize on his strong start and regain his former Leeds United form.

Luke Ayling’s debut at Millwall was encouraging, and Middlesbrough will be hoping he can build on that and reclaim the Leeds United form that made him a legend at Elland Road.

After playing for just 12 minutes since the beginning of November, Ayling was understandably rusty at first. However, he rapidly adjusted to the Millwall style and was instrumental in helping Boro overcome an early one-goal disadvantage. The 32-year-old not only strengthened Boro’s defense following the home team’s brisk start, but he also shown his ability to move the ball forward and score when in possession of the ball.
