Manager who quit Leeds in 2020 is now “loving” to sign Elland Road star, who Daniel Farke seldom uses.

Joe Gelhardt has lots of admirers this month as Daniel Farke continues to overlook the striker at Leeds United and now, Carlos Corberan would ‘love’ to take the forward to West Bromwich Albion.

In our last 20 league games, he has only managed one Championship appearance, substituting during the 1-1 draw with Coventry. This term, Gelhardt has also had to deal with a lot of annoying injuries.

Nixon now asserts that Corberan, who managed Leeds’ U21 team before joining Marcelo Bielsa as a coach and departing in 2020 to take over Huddersfield, would “love” to get back together.

Leeds wants Gelhardt’s salaries to be paid in full to any interested parties, which can cause friction. But given that the striker was once again an unutilized substitute on Saturday afternoon, a move for him is likely.
