“Is not going to survive”This could have been the £20 million Tottenham player’s final game with the team.

After a disappointing loan stint with Leeds, Spence returned, and Spurs promptly shipped him off to the Italian team while they finalized their own agreement for Radu Dragusin.

Spence, a Middlesbrough transfer that cost £20 million, has had difficulty since joining. Since Antonio Conte declined to play him, there have been ongoing concerns about his tardiness and attitude.

Additionally, Spence’s Tottenham career is currently finished, according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge.

In an interview with GiveMeSport, Bridge acknowledged that Spence’s time at Spurs is essentially ended, but generally, the team is happy that they acquired him.

Spence doesn’t have a future at Tottenham unless things improve. We can say it fairly plainly, I believe. Give him credit, though, if he was convinced to travel to Genoa. It’s possible that a lot of players would prefer to stay in London, piss themselves off, and wait until summer. He’s trying, at least, to do something different. Getting to Genoa is not simple. In light of this, Bridge remarked, “I’m sure Spurs wish him all the best and I think they’ve done well to get this deal.”

But the decision by Ange Postecoglou and Conte, two elite managers, to not accompany him, along with rumors from Leeds regarding tardiness and other problems, raises the possibility that there is more going on here.

Spence sees this transfer to Genoa as an opportunity to demonstrate his abilities. It’s just a matter of extracting it from the best player that we all know is out there.

Spence is ultimately responsible for handling the off-field matters. As a football player, there is no excuse for constant tardiness.
